Did you know you don’t need a job — or even your own business — to make money? Most people don’t think far enough outside the box when it comes to making money. But especially online, there are plenty of ways to bring in some cash without ever going to work.
1. Create Digital Product
Know how to do something really well? Have funny, interesting, or insightful things to say? You can create an e-book and sell it online — even through Amazon with Kindle Direct Publishing. If you’ve been blogging, you can use that existing following to help you get your e-book off the ground.
2. Sell Photos
You don’t need to be a professional photographer to sell stock photos online. If you like taking pictures — even of weird or randoms stuff — you can create a membership on sites like Shutterstock, Getty Images, or 123RF and sell them to people and businesses. You can do the same thing with video footage.
3. Podcasting
If you have a great idea for a podcast, you can build a following and eventually monetize it by selling sponsorships or driving people to your website or blog.
4. Online Research
You can actually make money researching stuff online, gathering statistics, or looking at a company’s competition. Look for requests on Wonder and find the ones you like.
5. Voice Over Work
Ever wonder about those people who just provide voice for commercials and such? There are several great training programs that help you learn and get into the voice over industry.
6. Moderate Social Media
Like interacting with people online and creating communities (even policing them)? There are several different companies that hire moderators to keep an eye on their communities, involve people, and keep an eye on things. Just do some homework to find reputable companies.
