Super Secret Ways to Save Big At Whole Foods

September 12, 2017 by Hailey Harris Leave a Comment

As you may have heard, Whole Foods has been bought by Amazon. As a result, a lot of the prices have come down. But if you want to save even more, here are some of the secrets you’ll need to know.

1. Subscribe

Go to the Whole Foods website and subscribe to their newsletter. You’ll get exclusive savings and know when your favorite items are on sale.

2. Look for Yellow & Red

The yellow and red tags are clearance items. This will help you find the best deals as you wander the isles.

3. Buy the Store Brand

Whole Foods has their own brand, called 365 Everyday Value. The quality is good, and the prices are even better.

4. Follow Local Locations

Local Whole Foods stores usually have specific Facebook pages. Make sure you follow your favorite location, and you’ll probably see exclusive deals.

5. Download the App

Whole Foods has its own app for iOS or Android. The app gives you coupons and recipes. Scan it at the register to automatically apply those coupons.

6. Go on Wednesday

New sales start every Wednesday, so go on this day to make sure they aren’t out of the best deals. Also, the stores offer one-day sales on certain items on Fridays.

7. Get a Punch Card

Punch cards are different for the varied locations, but you might find they’re available for sandwiches, sushi, supplements and more. Fill up your punch card and save on your next purchase. There’s also a rewards card.

8. Bring Your Own Bags

Whole Foods offers a discount when you bring your own reusable bags, since you’re helping them save paper or plastic. Depending on what location you shop, you could save 5 to 10 cents per bag. Load up!
